Amazing
So many of you have posted your excitement and reflections of how uplifting this week has been with the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. As a member of his campaign staff in North Dakota, I couldn’t agree more with you.
When the networks called the election for Obama on November 4, I didn’t shed a tear. I just smiled all night.
When Barack took the oath on January 20, I teared up a little and smiled all day.
It wasn’t until today at 4:32pm CST that I broke down, crying in my office as I perused the new WhiteHouse.gov website. Its sad really. I guess its just that I finally took the time at the end of a very emotional week to reflect on the fact that my President is a self-made man, who worked his ass off to get to where he is and has the courage to do what is right. Look at what he did in his first week! I have four more years to look forward to.
